Nurse Manager (RN)

Department: Assisted Living
Location: Seattle, WA

About the Role

We’re seeking a highly skilled Nurse Manager (RN) to serve as the clinical leader for our Assisted Living and Memory Care units. This is a meaningful opportunity to elevate resident care, strengthen clinical practice, and shape the culture of a dedicated team that values excellence, collaboration, and person-centered service. In this role, you’ll guide clinical operations, champion regulatory compliance, and ensure our caregiving teams provide safe, consistent, and compassionate care every day.

Starting Pay Range: $115,000 - $125,000 annually


What You’ll Get

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary clinical authority for Assisted Living and Memory Care.
  • Lead the RN Delegation Program, including resident eligibility, task delegation, competency checks, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead, develop, and supervise Medication Technicians and nursing staff.
  • Oversee care assessments, care planning, admissions, annual reviews, and change-of-condition evaluations.
  • Manage incident reporting, investigations, documentation, and trend analysis.
  • Ensure survey readiness through audits, corrective actions, and documentation integrity.
  • Set clear expectations for clinical excellence, documentation, and safe practices.
  • Partner with the Assisted Living Manager to align clinical and operational performance.
  • Lead clinical quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement efforts.
  • Strengthen medication management systems, infection prevention practices, and safety protocols.
  • Track and resolve clinical grievances with timely follow-through.
  • Partner with pharmacy, hospice, home health, and other providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in committees and policy development to support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Life Enrichment leadership to reinforce Memory Care practices.
  • Develop and deliver training related to delegation, medication systems, safety, emergency procedures, and clinical risk management.
  • Assess team learning needs and implement targeted training and coaching.
  • Provide education to residents and families on clinical systems and care processes.
  • Participate in the manager-on-call rotation to support clinical decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in good standing with the State of Washington.
  • 2+ years of recent experience working with a senior population.
  • 2+ years of recent RN Delegator experience.
  • 3+ years supervising 10+ direct reports in a healthcare environment.
  • Current CPR certification and BLS training.
  • Background working with dementia, aging-related needs, and complex family dynamics.

Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, 24/7 care environment.
  • Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and strong clinical judgment.
